I first learned about Arts Educators Save the World when Erica was a guest on the Blue Sky Podcast. When they did an episode swap, I was enthralled with the interview with Jonathan Groff and his elementary school music teacher. I then listened to the latest episode with a subject near and dear to my heart.. veterans and art making. I am a retired VA social worker who discovered the healing power of writing poetry after I retired due to a devastating diagnosis. I’m excited to dive into past episodes and have subscribed to stay up to date with each episode. Turn off the news. Stop doom scrolling and tune into conversations that will warm your heart and soul. Be inspired and uplifted to realize the potential and possibilities through the arts and arts education.

I’ve only ever heard of Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jonathan Groff. Maybe do people like Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Ariana Grande, Football players, Emma Watson, etc.

Jonathan and Linda's podcast was my first on Educators; it will not be the last! I personally know both Jonathan and Linda as I am a retired educator. So amazing to hear the influence an educator had on a young student and continues through life as an adult. My hope is every public( since many boards and superintendents decide to go away from the arts as a financial budget cut) listens to this and all your podcasts. It really is inspirational to listen to the interaction of you all! Well done!

I love hearing artists and educators talk about their disciplines and discoveries. This podcast is a much for anyone involved in arts, education, or raising young people. I always feel better after taking in an episode.
