Serving as a memorialization for these individuals, we learn about who these people were through the the words of the people that knew them best, while also helping us understand what these situations do to their families and communities not only in the immediate aftermath, but also what happens when the news-cycle moves on and the social media attention shifts focus. Though the story received National media attention, there is a lot more to the case and the Clark family story than most people know. And I said, "Oh my God." I thought it was the neighbors. There's some apartments over here that's behind, they're called Coral Gables, and they always like shooting over there, these young people. So I jumped out on the floor and because the sound was getting closer, got out of that chair over there and came over here and pulled my granddaughter by her legs and said, "Cailyn, wake up. They're shooting outside. They're shooting." And she said, "What, Grandma?" I said, "Yeah, they're shooting. Lay down. We went all the way around to the bedroom on the floor, me and her. And I said, "Papa, they're shooting." He said, "Yeah." Then he said that he thought he heard somebody at the window, but I said, "Well, call the police.
