    Striking a Balance: Certainty, Flexibility and Reinvention

    This episode features a discussion with Su-Yen Wong about her personal journey of transformation, from becoming a runner in her late 40's and soon after,
    with her husband being the first couple from Singapore to complete a marathon together - in the artic circle!

    Su-Yen shares how it's important to put consistent time and effort into new skills even when it's difficult at first, as things become easier with practice. She also talks about empowering women to use their voices through her book "Unleash Your Voice" which she co-authored.

    The conversation explores Su-Yen's childhood experiences that shaped her path and passion for languages, as well as how she balances certainty and flexibility over her career through daring decisions. Su-Yen teaches leadership at NUS while continuing to learn Mandarin, and finds fulfillment in connecting people across industries and maintaining long-term relationships. She also discusses the community she leads for senior executives reinventing themselves through career transitions.
