As an architect and an independent consultant specialising on the historic built environment, Dr. Orbaşlı works internationally advising on the protection, conservation and management of historic places and sites. In this episode she talks about her experiences in historic site management from different geographies including Türkiye, the Middle Eastern and European countries. She underlines the similar challenges and opportunities that historic sites face in contemporary times, touching upon issues such as conservation, tourism, and local communities.
