It's nice for a change to hear the positive changes of world and how its improving someones life. I've been subscribing to Future Crunch for awhile and it makes me happy after I've read it., and listening to this podcast makes me happy that there are people who do care and want to help.

This first episode comes at a profound time for me as I just returned from an educators conference about balancing the educational opportunities for marginalized students and making sure all students have access to quality rigorous instruction that is engaging, affirming and meaningful. The story of SOLA and afghan girls pulls on my heart and what educational opportunities mean for so many.
