Content With Knowing God

In the days of the early Church, there was an ongoing struggle to stay true to the Gospel, that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. The Apostle Paul encourages Timothy to remain vigilant when confronting false teachers because doctrine determines direction. True gain comes from godliness and contentment, not worldly wealth or greed.
