Angelo Carusone is an expert in not only the media and newspace but in the political realm.He has been president of Media Matters since 2016 after taking over from its founder David Brock. He has pushed the nonprofit media watchdog organization to bring attention to the disturbing rise of misinformation in the news media and alt-right news sources. He has led several campaigns for “brand safety” criticizing media figures like Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly, and is former Deputy CEO of the Finance and Administration of the Democratic National Convention.
