We often forget the fact that the people in scripture didn’t know how the story would end. We can skip to the end but we miss the nuance, and therefore we miss the point.

What have you built that seems good enough? God has a promise for your life and Pastor Meredith encourages us to not settle for an "almost promise." You can quit if you want to, or you can choose to go all the way to the promise.

We all have different titles, positions, and roles. In the same way, Jesus has different titles like teacher, savior, friend, and King. While we enjoy calling Him by many titles, Jesus as King can be uncomfortable because it requires us to acknowledge and live by his authority.

However, it’s the power of the King to negotiate your release from the debt you couldn’t pay. It’s the power of the King to declare you free.
