Using the WAND system with grower Hamish Clark

Using the WAND system with grower Hamish Clark

The Weather And Networked Data (WAND) network of towers is a joint project between CRDC, GRDC and GoannaAg that launched late 2022.

The network allows growers to see the latest weather readings from their local tower, and predicts whether a hazardous inversion is current or likely to occur in the next 2 hours.

CottonInfo's Megan Woodward caught up with Hamish Clark, an early adopter of the WAND system, on his property near Boggabilla to get his take on being involved with the network and associated app, and found out some of the benefits he's experienced so far.

This podcast chat also forms part of a CottonInfo video, watch here: Using the WAND network as a cotton grower - YouTube.
