Simmer Down Folks

Are people failing to realize that most episodes of this podcast come from the TV show? You can’t expect to understand some of the jokes since you can’t see the visual aids that accompany them on tv. The comedians don’t even talk that much aside from the little like 3 minute segments they get.

Also, how can you make a full decision on whether or not something is good if you give up on it before the first few minutes are even over?

Anyways, huge fan. I’m a truck driver and listen to this show constantly while working. Keep it up! 👍🏾

Please behavior more professional for Science Podcast

The guest was interrupted too much, it is not funny when you want to seriously listen to science and instead has to listen to junk chit chats. I just listen for the first 10 minutes and then switch to the other podcasts.

People need to calm down

Reading through the reviews of everyone complaining about the comedy, seriously? If you want something dry go read a textbook. Chuck breaks the seriousness and brings us back to reality. I often find myself cracking up at a comment he makes. The bits of humor are what makes the scientific content memorable and easier to understand.

As for the people complaining about the show being too involved in politics, it’s a huge issue in the world of science right now. Especially pertaining to climate change. They should be talking about it!
