CounterSpin, the weekly radio program of the media watch group FAIR (Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting), provides a critical examination of the major stories every week, and exposes what the mainstream media might have missed in their own coverage. CounterSpin exposes and highlights biased and inaccurate news; censored stories; sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia and ableism in the news; the power of corporate influence; gaffes and goofs by leading TV pundits; TV news’ narrow political spectrum; attacks on free speech; and more.

Excellent media reset
It’s cohesive and careful critique of media is like a salve for our corporate media propaganda mindset. Thank you!
One of the best!
Have listened to this show for years and really appreciate the interviews and topics covered.
Podcast will not stream, this happens often!
I really love your show, but about 10% to 25% of the shows will not play, someone isn’t carefully testing the show file after it’s been encoded. I have a background in encoding files for audio and video so I understand. Please have your technical staff double check the current show and repost it please. This Thursday s the only podcast I’m having an issue with.
Thanks, David H.
