40. When You’re Single with Healthcare Human Resources Leader, Doctoral Student, and Devoted Daughter & Sister – Francesca Vittoria Courage Becomes Her

    • Self-Improvement

In this episode of Courage Becomes Her, Francesca Vittoria talks about being single. She shares about how she was so focused on making her parents proud by taking advantage of the access she had to an education and developing her career that she hadn’t been concerned with being in a relationship or getting married. But then friends started asking her why she didn’t have a man in her life and that led to shame, insecurities, and a season of discontentment and comparison. When complaining to a friend about being single, her friend challenged her to shift her perspective and to see her singleness as a blessing. She shares about her journey of accepting herself and her life and finding joy by seeing and appreciating the impact she’s able to have as a single woman.
Francesca’s parents immigrated to the United States to provide a life for Francesca and her sister that they would not have had in Italy. Francesca is a lifelong southern Florida gal who travels all over the east coast for her work as a regional Human Resources leader for a billion-dollar senior living organization. In addition to her busy corporate life, she is working toward a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and Human Resource Development. In any spare time, she can be found doing yoga or high-intensity interval training (HIIT) or relaxing with her dad and sister.
