This podcast will be reviewing the importance of breastfeeding and human milk for infants, in particular those in the neonatal intensive care unit. In this episode listeners will recognize the importance of breastfeeding and learn how to support mothers to establish and maintain milk production when their infants are unable to feed at the breast. This podcast was created by Insiya Fathima Moosavi, a second year medical student at McMaster University in collaboration with Dr. Nikki Mitchell, a pediatric resident from Alberta, and Dr. Rhea D’Costa, a Developmental Paediatrician from Toronto.
