The marketing episode with Noah has so much to unpack! It really changed how I see different marketing processes. Love the idea of commerce-based vs collaboration-based orgs rather than for-profits vs non-profits. Very insightful episode!

It has been so great to hear from other people in the nonprofit sector about the challenges they have faced and overcome. Such a great way to feel encouraged and empowered to keep doing the work we are so proud of.

Wow! I am amazed by this podcast. It is awesome to know that there are people out there like Matt and Susan that want to connect with others. I love their mission of building relationships and not competing with each other like how most of our society is today. I also loved the topic of burnout. It is often not talked about. We tend to conceal it. They mentioned how easy it is to get caught up in doing work for others but not taking care of yourself. I loved it when they said you cannot serve others without first taking care of yourself. Not to mention hearing the emotion in Susan and how passionate she is about her work is inspiring. She really wants to change the upcoming generation and encourage teens to practice healthy coping mechanisms by journaling, yoga sessions, and mindful meditations. Definitely going to be tuning in and learning more about the nonprofit world!

I went to the event and it was such an educational and fun event. We learned from some amazing nonprofit professionals and had a discussion about burn out. Loved Susan’s episode that dove even deeper into it. Can’t wait for more!
