Remembering Pearl Harbor: 80 Years Later

Remembering Pearl Harbor: 80 Years Later

William Federer is a nationally known speaker, historian, author, and president of Amerisearch, Inc, a publishing company dedicated to researching America's noble heritage. He's the speaker on The American Minute daily broadcast. He has authored numerous books including, America's God and Country Encyclopedia of Quotations, Who is the King in America-, Socialism- The Real History From Plato to the Present, and The Faith of FDR.--In WWII there were 2 fronts. One front had Hitler's Germany, who made alliances with Italy and Japan, while also invading Poland and other Eastern European nations. The Soviets became involved in 1939 and the list of nations pulled in grew from there to include Albania, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, Lithuania, etc.--The sides grew larger in 1940 and '41 but with all that activity, America remained on the sidelines.--Some American politicians thought that if we didn't get involved and Hitler wins, we'd be isolated with no friends. FDR had made numerous promises not to get involved but eventually began to communicate that we wouldn't, unless we were attacked.--Eventually, Japan did attack America at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941. 2,403 people were killed. Of that number, 68 were civilians. Another 1,178 were wounded, including 35 civilians. The National World War II Museum reports that 2 battleships and over 160 aircraft were destroyed and more were damaged.

What Hill Are You Willing to Die On?

What Hill Are You Willing to Die On?

In October, 2021, we were pleased to have Pastor Curtis McMiller from Heritage Baptist Church in Kenosha speak at the Father-Son Retreat at Trail Ridge Camp in Hillsboro, Wisconsin. This Crosstalk features his powerful challenge that he presented to the men in attendance called, What Hill Are You Willing to Die On---Pastor McMiller began by reading from 2 Samuel 23-11-12, where the text mentions Shammah who stood strong against the Philistines in the midst of a field of lentils.--Lentils of course, are beans and were a source of food for God's people. So here was a man who was willing to put his life on the line for beans- So if he's willing to die for beans, what are you willing to die for---After this, Pastor McMiller referenced Numbers 31-7-8 where Joshua was leading the Israelites and they were poised to wipe out a number of people groups who were against God. This portion of Scripture notes that as they warred against the Midianites, as the Lord commanded Moses, every man was killed including Balaam son of Beor.--Balaam was at one time in close connection with God. He was a man that would pray and obtain results from God, yet here we see him being destroyed by the armies of Israel. Why- It's because he decided to run with the ungodly, therefore he ended up dying on the hill of the ungodly.--So what hill are you willing to die on- Are you willing to die on God's side or are you heading toward a scenario that has you dying, like Balaam, on the hill of the ungodly---It's a challenging question every Christian must face, one that is critical given the turmoil of the culture we live in.

    SCOTUS Dobbs Case Analyzed

    SCOTUS Dobbs Case Analyzed

It was dubbed the biggest abortion case since Roe v. Wade as yesterday oral arguments were held in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. --Appearing with Jim to present his evaluation of the case was Mat Staver. Mat is founder - chairman of Liberty Counsel. Mat is a constitutional attorney with over 230 published legal opinions, has authored 8 scholarly law review publications and 10 books. He's filed numerous briefs and argued in many federal and state courts. He has also argued two landmark cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.-The issue presented in this case is whether it would be upheld contrary to all court precedent going back to the 1973 Roe case. This is because Mississippi passed a law that bans abortions beginning at 15 weeks. This is prior to what's termed viability which is the baby's ability to live outside the womb. The controversy is over this viability issue which Mat indicated is considered about 22-24 weeks depending upon the circumstances.--Mat then proceeded to review some legal history beginning with Roe and the trimester system that came forth from that case. In the first trimester the state has no interest in regulating abortion. During the second trimester the state can put some regulations on abortion such as physician licensing or where abortions take place. During the third trimester, when you're well past the 22 week viability period, the state can put even more restrictions on abortion, but even then, they can't completely ban them.

    Lawlessness Abounds

    Lawlessness Abounds

From the parade tragedy in Waukesha, Wisconsin, yesterday's high school shooting in Michigan, smash-and-grab robberies, climate activists warning that pipelines could be blown up, to car jackings, homicides, and other violent crimes that are increasing, there's no doubt that lawlessness abounds in America.--Bringing his unique perspective as to why this is happening, Crosstalk welcomed Richard Schmidt. Richard is the former sheriff of Milwaukee County, having served some 32 years in various capacities in the sheriff's office. He is now pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church and also heads Prophecy Focus Ministries. He is speaker on the WVCY-TV program, Prophecy Focus.--Pastor Schmidt believes lawlessness is exponentially increasing. He noted that from 2019 to 2020 there's been a 30- increase in homicides with 21,000 killed in 2019. The reason- Secular media sources are trying to connect this to people being tied down and becoming frustrated due to the COVID pandemic.--How is this affecting government- He believes government is moving in a socialistic direction instead of relying on rule of law through proper interpretation of the Constitution.--Another area where he described government moving in a wrong direction is with the concept of deferred prosecution. This is driven by factors such as a legal system that is overburdened with people who've committed crimes while at the same time having limited funds and space for housing of such individuals. This plays into the hands of the liberal agenda because they don't want such individuals in jail or prison where they don't have access to the voting booth and themselves support the liberal-socialist agenda.

    Globalist Goals Advancing

What's happening in our world today may seem like chaos and upheaval, but for globalists, this is all part of the plan. So for there to be a great reset, everything must fall apart, including things such as your personal privacy, private property, the health care system, our supply chain, our economic and political systems, and even our spiritual system.--Joining Jim with an update on the factors that continue to push this agenda forward was Gary Kah. Gary is the founder and director of Hope For the World. Gary is editor of Hope for the World Update, is a former government trade specialist and an author. He is the former Europe - Middle East Trade Specialist for the Indiana State Government.--With Gary as the guest, the information is plentiful so as you review this broadcast, get ready to take notes as he comments on the following---Israel National News is reporting that the nation has 34 suspected cases of the Omicron COVID variant with 2 confirmed carriers, both of which are doctors who are fully vaccinated and have had the booster shots.--The implementation of vaccine passports-proof of vaccination.
