So you want to learn Spanish? From which part of the world? Over 500 years ago the Spanish language (a.k.a. Castellano) crossed an ocean and spread to 2 different continents spanning more than 20 different countries.
During this time old and distinct cultures clashed and new worlds were formed, each creating its own historical, cultural and linguistic legacy.
The Dímelo Caminando (Tell-it-to-me-walking) Latin America Travel, Culture and Spanish Language Learning podcast is your host Jamie Killen’s attempt to explore these worlds as he travels his way through the South American continent to discover, learn, and share with you how each one of these countries and its people give life to their language and culture.
Regional speech, idiomatic expressions, popular language, grammar, vocabulary, themes, symbols, and cultural facets will be presented and explored through all sorts of different interviews and conversations with experts, local slang masters, and Spanish speakers from all over Latin America and Spain, starting with Colombia and Ecuador.
You can find FREE transcripts of each episode along with mini lessons and grammar explanations, language learning strategies, tips, hacks, and new vocabulary at TellittomeWalking.com. Check out the site for more details.

Espero que no haya terminado!

As somebody who is still learning the language, I love the few episodes of this podcast that Jamie has put together. I’m hoping he resumes making new episodes and hasn’t given up. The ones that are here are excellent!

Great podcast!!

The first 2 episodes are great! I am a Spanish teacher and I like to brush up on my Spanish- the topics are really interesting and I like the normal paced conversation with native speakers.
