Think you know everything about D Day? Ya don’t! The historical details are astonishing , delivered by a perfect narrator alongside first person recollections of each element of the Normandy invasion. Amd there are sooooo many elements. Listen to this and it’s like you are living it as it happens. The movie forms in your mind as the events unfurl.
Historical filth and garbage
Sep 3
I’ve heard better history from the bottom of my boot, going through chicken manure, then this worthless pile of garbage. 1: the tide was already turned by 1944 the Soviets outnumbered the Germans two to one on the eastern front outnumbered the German armor by about four times and had air superiority. 2: rips into all the war generals. Yes, some had their mistakes, but they weren’t serial killers. They did everything short of putting a Hitler mustache on Patton. and they portrayed Montgomery as a egotistical jerk, who didn’t care about the lives of his soldiers. 3:Get a new voice actor!! if this guy didn’t have a nice sounding voice I would’ve written this thing a one star review every time he speaks about history he sounds like he’s depressed. 4:They never try to crack a joke if one of the people they’re interviewing crakes a joke They awkwardly transition back to the Voice actor I would much rather the historians Speak the majority of the time and the voice actor was just a narrator. 5:so in all this is Not a good podcast and this is what I have to say about just the first two episodes.
Excellent podcast that provides a really good narrative of DDay

I love this podcast, the story telling really brings the story to life. Also what a great way to honor the brave people who planed, supported, and stormed the beaches.
