Dad Saves America

Proud papa, filmmaker, entrepreneur, and arm-chair philosopher John Papola explores the biggest issues facing our kids, our communities, and our country through the lens of fatherhood. We produce powerful stories, exclusive interviews, mini-documentaries, and deep dives on a weekly basis. Our goal is to build a movement of dads and could-be dads who embrace our heroic calling to raise a new generation ready to thrive in a free society and be champions of civilization. We’ve had all sorts of experts in the studio, including Jonathan Haidt, Dr. Drew, Michael Shellenberger, Bret Weinstein, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Adam Carolla. www.dadsavesamerica.com

Have you ever wanted to hear the political musings of the ad man behind Spike TV? The enthralling tale of a light in the loafers conservative earning his stripes as the token liberal presenting NPR listener of the NRA bunch. Truly binary shattering.
From Parenting to Divisiveness

I discovered the Dad Saves America podcast when an episode about early childhood parenting featuring an interesting guest popped up in my YouTube feed. As a parent of three, I enjoyed the episode, I was intrigued and subscribed, hoping for more content on similar topics. However, when I got in my car that same morning, I opened up my podcast app searched for the Podcast and listened to the latest episode. The episode was about Immigration and the discussion felt one sided and sensationalist. The host and guest focused on exaggerated issues, painting a picture of widespread chaos, while subtly acknowledging that these were not the majority of cases. Still the episode dwelled on these outlier problems, framing them as the core of the immigration issue. A quick glance at other recent episodes made it clear that the show had shifted focus. What started as a podcast about fatherhood had morphed into discussions on political hot topics and even conspiracy theories. I was disappointed to see the original parenting focus abandoned in favor of more controversial subjects.
