In the short history of America, we have had the great depression, great world wars, the great recession and other seasons of great difficulty. Many are discussing what to call this season in America - “The Great Pause,” “The Great Resignation,” and “The Great Divide” are a few names in circulation. But we would submit to you that God didn’t allow the pandemic so we could take a big pause. He didn’t allow Covid so we would all give up and quit, and He didn’t allow Covid to create a culture of no grace. We would submit to you that God is using it to interrupt how we were living and inviting us to something greater! The great interruption is a great invitation.
