Season 10 Episode 17: Racism in Dating

Season 10 Episode 17: Racism in Dating

With the death of George Floyd and the nation-wide protests for black lives matter this week, it's time we really pay attention to how racism plays into everyday life – including dating. We compiled a few of our past episodes about the struggles of dating as black men and women in modern times. Really listen as we talk with Yelitsa, Sofaya, and Chris about how they navigate racist comments on dating apps, the extra hardships that come with dating as a person of color, and how best to openly discuss sexual racism to help put an end to this behavior.

Good show but reduce intro time.

Was introduced to this from a friend and really enjoyed hearing different topics and perspectives on dating. However, don’t know if it’s more recent or I’m just noticing it more, but the intro and the banter at the start of the show feels long. 20-25 minutes of chatting before getting to the meat of the episode! Please scale it back.
