#brunchtalk: Is the saying 'If they wanted to, they would' true?

#brunchtalk: Is the saying 'If they wanted to, they would' true?

From all the romcoms and dating advice, we've been told over and over again: if they wanted to, they would. They'd move mountains to be with us and if they can't, then they just aren't that into it. In this week’s brunch talk, we’re discussing when someone says they can't do something / they aren't ready and what this means for you, why this saying isn't always so black and white, and how to use this information to help propel you forward in your love life.

MLC503 ,

Great podcast!

I love this podcast! I don’t think I’m the demographic, I’m a 59 yo single female, but I enjoy listening to Julie and Yue on this podcast. I’ve learned a bunch about myself too! The topics are interesting and relevant, the guests are fantastic. I haven’t give up on love just yet, and these two have helped me understand this crazy dating experience just a bit more. Figured dating was harder due to my age, and a bit saddened to realize it’s hard no matter what your age, but these gals help me navigate this experience and learn about myself and my patterns that were/are getting in my way. I also pass along some of my favorite episodes to my adult daughters, one of them happily married, cuz there are so many episodes that are good reminders about the importance of communication and healthy ways to communicate, no matter your relationship status.

Looking forward to listening to Exit Interview. Would love to get insight on past dates and what went wrong! Why don’t we do that in real life? Painful I’m sure, but also truly eye opening, I would think! Lol.

Keep up the good work ladies!!!

Moody Jones ,

So insightful!

I have a lot of anxiety around dating and tried a lot of podcasts on the subject but this is by far the most helpful and thoughtful!
