My goodness. I cannot express what this podcast meant to me. I hope the fact that this is the first ever review I’ve left on a podcast can speak to that. It is wild to me that I’m 26 and SO much (most?!) of what is discussed in this series was new to me. Thank you for talking about it!!!!!! The wide range of experts and individuals you had on the show was incredibly helpful, comforting, and impressive. LOVED learning from them all. India, you do such a beautiful job learning from all these individuals, I felt like I was just learning right alongside you. The entire podcast is also just beautifully produced. Standing ovation there. I found myself feeling so RELIEVED at many points just feeling a sense of COMMUNITY in all of this. In knowing I’m not alone. And I got emotional at many different points because of the BEAUTIFUL reframing that was happening about women’s bodies. About my body!!! After having listened I am feeling an increased sense of awe, wonder, gratitude, love, and connectedness with my MAGICAL body and the marvel she is. I’ve already told several friends about the podcast and will continue to do so. Thank you thank you thank you for bringing this into existence 🙏🏼
If only the episodes were longer

I learned a lot from this series. It covers a variety of topics many girls and women never hear discussed. I never learned 90% of this in health class, and have had to piece meal this into my adult years, and I still learned new things!! It continues to show how far girls and women have to go to get understanding in the world. Pros: goes through the entire cycle, so many topics looked into, host has a great voice and the music chosen takes the listener on a path to learning. Really liked learning different cultures relation to women’s periods (1 episode). Both girls and women will benefit from listening to the series. Cons: Way to short of episodes, they could have easily been 30-45 minutes and still only scratched the surface. I remember feeling whiplash as some episodes ended when I thought we were just getting into the meat of the matter. Secondly, this series points out how far females are from getting recognition for the complexities of our bodies. Yet, there are a few mentions scattered and 1 whole episode devoted to those that don’t recognize themselves as female. We have been fighting for too long trying to be heard, and now we are being ran over (yet again!) to give sympathy and recognition to both men who think they are women and women who think they are men and those who can’t figure it out. Females need to stop bowing down, and instead continue the fight to be heard, continue learning about our bodies, and demand that ‘it isn’t all in my head’. This show should have focused on females…women….girls, and not brought in ‘trans’. That should be a show all on its own, as I’m tired of seeing females get pushed over.
Totally mind blowing

I thought of myself as a relatively informed person about women’s health, but there were so many jaw dropping pieces of information about having a female body in this world, and it has completely transformed how I approach my healthcare and my period. I share this podcast with everyone I know, highly highly recommend as an essential listen.
