DCOM Descendants - A DCOM Podcast

(Save this for Lemonade Mouth, please, Dan! I have reasons.) Hi friends, it’s Double Decker Ria! Huge fan of the Bramble Jam Network, obviously! I couldn’t have been more excited when this podcast was announced as a humongous DCOM fan who continues to rewatch them regularly as an adult. The chemistry between Bran, Dan, and Erin is fantastic and entertaining, no matter what movie they’re reviewing. It’s making me even consider revisiting movies like Dadnapped and giving movies I’ve always loved like Eddie’s Million Dollar Cook-Off the moment they deserve. 👏🏽 Okay, now for the Lemonade Mouth specific piece. I absolutely adore this movie, and it actually is my #1 DCOM of the ones I’ve watched. My friends and I threw a premiere party for this movie complete with lemon flavored drinks and treats and each of us dressing like one of the characters in the band. There’s one tiny wait what that’s nagged at me, though. Mohini’s last name isn’t Banjaree; that’s not even a real last name. As per the book, it’s Banerjee, so Lemonade Mouth WOULD have been the first time I had ever seen a character with my last name on screen - so close! 🤪 - but I assume Dan has said it correctly now to an audience, so we’ll say I can retroactively count it, haha. I really like this podcast

While Donna has only watched DCOMs as a mother, she is thrilled to know that this show exists and that her daughters and niece can listen to Erin and the guys talk about the movies. Also, justice for High School Musical! I enjoyed watching that with my girls.

I love listening to this podcast! It brings me back to the days I would come home after school to turn on Disney Channel and watch everything they had to offer. DCOMs bring back so many happy childhood memories. I always laugh out loud when I listen to you guys analyze each one.
