Deadly Manners

This series was a whirlwind of mystery and comic relief ! I was fully immersed from episode one Hope to hear more from this crew !!!

I was loving the podcast, until the final episode where it turns into nothing but communist propaganda.

All the voice actors were superb. Great story and kept me guessing until the end. The only complaint I have is how heavy handed the handling of the same sex relationship was. I get wanting to preach tolerance, but it wasn’t realistic of the time period and it was distracting with how many times “everyone deserves love” was brought up. After it was mentioned for the 100th time, it started to detract from the story because their romance no longer felt organic and like it was placed there to tick a box. Other than that, this was a very entertaining podcast.

While it’s campy tone is sometimes fun, it reads lame at other times. I get that this is intentioned to be over-the-top however, the story is beyond ridic. Lavar Burton however, is fantastic.
