Dear Dance Mom...

I’ve listened to these ladies since Because Mom Said So. And it has been a really fun listen. However, when Dr. Holly made her exit I told myself I would continue to listen, even though I knew Holly being gone would change the dynamic of the podcast. Unfortunately, this podcast is no longer enjoyable to listen to and needs a overhaul. The only one who gets to speak is Melissa. Anytime Jill or Kelly speaks she appears to be engaged, but it’s only to draw the conversation back to her, her kids and her friends. Everything Kelly and Jill says Melissa takes it back to her and it’s a bit annoying. For instance, when Kelly was talking about randomly seeing Holly. Jill was very much engaged in the conversation and was listening and engaged. There was a back and forth about the topic. Melissa was only listening to revert the story back to her friend going to Sprouts which had nothing at all to do with what Kelly was saying and completely took the conversation away from Kelly and Holly to Melissa and her friend for a similar story about meeting someone random out of coincidence. It becomes very difficult to listen to this podcast when the majority of the conversation is about Melissa and her life. This is no longer about the lives of the other dance moms which is disappointing. As an educator, this drives me crazy because there is no equitable time shared amongst all the podcast host. It is clear that other listeners feel the same way if you look through the reviews. Please be cognizant of this to maintain the engagement of your audience. Thank you.

Ladies.. please have a topic each week. Your conversations are all over the place. You jump around from one thing to the next and usually ends with something about Melissa and her life always. The name of your podcast is Dear Dance Moms. The majority of this should be answering the fans questions and then end with the other chatter. On a side note, please stop interrupting Kelly and please listen to the comments.

This is an amazing podcast I love hearing you guys answer questions about dance moms and I love just hearing you talk about your lives! Keep up the good work! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Please let others talk. And stop getting fussy everytime the other moms are bonding, you don’t need to implement yourself in everything. There was a moment Jill was asking Kelly about her cancer recovery. And Melissa cut Kelly off and started talking about her kid’s dog… what is wrong with you? It’s exhausting. Also, were you going to be charged if you didn’t eat Abby out?
