About Deborah: Deborah is an award-winning, best-selling author, keynote speaker, and master instructor. Her journey to become a 2013 Champion of Diversity began as a child of one of the few Jewish families in the British colony of Bermuda and grew with her insertion into the New York City area, then Harvard University and a career in Chicago, #Tulsa, Cincinnati, and Chattanooga.  Deborah joined a civil rights picket line in 1965, was an early volunteer with #SNCC, and joined the first Women’s Liberation March in NYC circa 1970. Deborah then acquired numerous degrees and awards in cultural anthropology, religion, and urban planning.  She is currently headquartered in Tennessee where she trains international executives coming into the South, serving on Volkswagen's Diversity Council & growing the Southern-Global Connection.
