Maegan Blau is the Owner and Lead Designer at Blue Copper Design Studio in Phoenix, Arizona. She started her interior design career after experiencing barriers within home and community spaces as a wheelchair user due to a C6-C8 spinal cord injury. Maegan combines her perspective of disability with a life-long passion for interior design to promote adaptive design concepts without the ugly, institutional look. In this episode we explore how Maegan and her team elevates interior design with expertise in adaptive design, universal design, A.D.A, accessible spaces and everyday living for those "Typical" folks out there too! When Maegan isn't buried in design projects she is bingeing murder mystery shows, playing with her pups Odin & Luna and beating the AZ heat in the pool with a spicy margarita! Check out her IG page to catch the latest in all things design with a few debuts for the furry friends too!
