Wits crowned inaugural Varsity Basketball Champions.

The first ever Varsity Basketball took place over the first 2 weekends in October. The tournament featured universities from all over the country and provided non stop action. TUT dominate Varsity Football finals

TUT made it a clean sweep in the finals of Varsity Football as both the womens and mens teams claimed come from behind victories. The women were 2-1 winners over UWC to claim a 5th title, while there male counterparts put the disappointed of last years final behind them, beating Wits 2-1. In the final round of Varsity Football 2018, NWU needed to win and hope other results went their way to secure a spot in the semis. UKZN & UL battled it out for, what would be, their first and only wins of the season.
