Concussions and Traumatic Brain Injury.
04/05/2023
Great episode! Concussions are a serious injury that usually just get passed over. People dont realize all of the symptoms and consequences that come with it long term! Skin Grafting- I knew of skin grafting but not a lot about it. This was very interesting to hear the different options and how it might help a burn victim more long term! Type 1 Diabetes- I really liked this episode. It explained the prices of treatment which is never m=really mentioned. Stem cells are a cheaper option in the long run but are a very controversial topic right now so it’s not looked into. Great job guys.
PTSD
06/05/2022
This topic was truly interesting, you guys did a good job highlighting that depending where the person did their service their PTSD triggers and symptoms can also vary. Also I believe you guys mentioning that this is something that is commonly discussed and not much is done to do something about it is important. However, from what you guys shared there seems to be a lot of possible therapies and treatments beyond medication to allow them as veterans to improve.
Crohn’s Disease

Great Information. I love learning about diseases that I am not familiar with. Very informative and easy to understand. I really appreciate the time taken to break down the differences between each type of Crohn’s as well as current treatments. Hannah, thank you for your transparency! -Sheba
Food Deserts
04/05/2022
I loved this episode and I think you guys did a great job explaining the negative impacts that a lack of nutritious meals can cause. I thought it was so interesting that food deserts can cause obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. I have never thought about this but after listening it makes so much sense! I completely agree that this is a super important topic that needs to be talked about more.
