    A Killer Paradox (2024)

    Join us as we unpack, A Killer Paradox: Lee Tang, who was discharged from the army six months ago, struggles with his life and dreams of visiting Canada. He works at a convenience store and relies heavily on his parents for support. One night, he is assaulted by a customer, leading to a violent confrontation and the subsequent murder of the customer. Tang is guilt-ridden and prepares to turn himself in, but it turns out the dead man is a serial killer and he has been wanted for the past 4 years. Thinking he has gotten away with murder, he is confronted by a witness to his crime who blackmail’s him to hide his crime but then he kills her to keep her from extorting money from him. Soon after her death the cops discover her parents buried in her backyard as she had killed them years prior. But with dutiful detective Jang Nan-gam continuing his investigation, it is unclear if Nan-gam is onto him. Tang continues to kill, revealing his hidden talent for detecting and killing previously unpunished evildoers without leaving any traceable evidence. But Nan-gam’s instincts as a detective leads him to suspect Lee Tang as the killer.     Join us as we unpack, A Shop for Killers: After the death of her grandmother and parents when she was a young child, Ji An is raised by the only family she has left, an uncle who she barely knows and living out in the country surrounded by a new school, now classmates and a new guardian. Now, living an independent life as a university student in Seoul, her world is rocked again at the news of her uncle’s death from an apparent suicide. Now truly left alone without any family, she has inherited her uncle’s house and watering hose company. And just as she hangs up her chief mourning clothes and tries to wrap her head around her uncle’s company that lists her as the owner with a very interesting inventory, the doorbell rings with a lady claiming to be her uncle’s friend. Wary of his friend she has never met, she doesn’t open the door, but little did she know how far a knock can actually go, because her next guest, they decide not to use the door but does decide to bring a bouquet of bullets. Uninvited guests show up one after the other as she realizes her uncle is not who she thought he was and is now forced to figure out what's going on all while trying to survive the night using the few tactics her uncle has taught her over the years.     Join us as we unpack, Death’s Game: Job searching is not for the faint of heart. Graduation is only the beginning. Choi Yee-Jae, finishing his last semester at school with high marks he is off to his first job interview with Taekang Group but with only minutes to spare before he enters the building to a job that will set him up for his future, he witnesses a car accident that catapults a man right in front of him on the sidewalk, to see this man taking his last breath. Shaken by what he just witnesses, Yee-Jae is not able to focus on his interview and he eventually doesn’t get that job. Now 7 years have passed, and he still hasn’t become the company man he has always set out to be, and life only gets tougher; within the 7 years he has broken up with his girlfriend pushing her away after a misunderstanding and to top of his 7 years of bad luck, a supposed friend takes all of his money through a bitcoin scheme. Now full of desperation and despair he decides he no longer wants to live his miserable life and decides to commit suicide only to come face to face with not his death, but the personified entity of Death and she is not pleased to say the least. As he stands at the gate way to Hell, Death decides to punish him to coming to meet her before she sent for him. His punishment?     Join us as we unpack, The Kidnapping Day: What length would you go, to save your child? What crime are you willing to commit for the betterment of their health. Kim Myeong-Jun was a poor man with a warm-heart and when his ex-wife showed up with the opportunity for him to make money to pay for their sick daughter’s operation, he took up her offer to kidnap an 11-year-old Choi Ro-Hee with rich parents. But is it really kidnapping when Ro-Hee steps out in front of his car and faints and only to wake up without her memory? Yes, yes it is but yet the CCTV footage truly baffles the cops who can’t make heads or tails of the situation or who he is. To Ro-Hee, he says, “I’m your dad”, but Ro Hee takes one look at her surroundings and feels, she would never live in a place like this. But is it really kidnapping when Ro-Hee is willingly avoiding the cops escaping the hospital hand in hand with Myung Jun? Yes, yes it is but the CCTV footage is really confusing the cops that are now investigating not only a kidnapping but a double murder case. But is it really kidnapping when Ro-hee knows, Myeong-jun is not her father, he has confessed to the full plot of kidnapping, choosing to stay with him and that she is really a genius and test subject.
