Didaché is the Greek word for teaching or doctrine. All Christians profess to love Jesus but few seem to have a passion for doctrine and theology. The Didaché podcast is dedicated to teaching sound doctrine and theology for it is by this that our knowledge of God is deepened which, in turn, enables our love for God to be deepened. The Bible says, "And this I pray, that your love would abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment" (Philippians 1:9).

This podcast will discuss doctrine, theology, hermeneutics, and how to apply all of these disciplines so that we can live lives obedient to God's word and for His glory. We will see how, far from being boring, there is nothing more exciting and practical for the Christian than to both know and apply sound doctrine. Most of the programs will simply be straight teaching from Justin but from time to time he will also interview special guests on the program, deal with current theological issues as they arise, and will dedicate some time to answering your questions that you send in. This podcast will not have all of the bells and whistles of some of the others, but what it lacks in sound effects we trust will be made up in content.

Justin Peters is a full-time itinerant preacher dedicated to expository preaching and biblically engaging many of the prevalent false doctrines that seek to "deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting" (Romans 16:17). He has earned both a Master of Divinity (2000) and Master of Theology (2002) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has preached in churches and conferences in 43 states and 27 countries. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Bozeman, MT, and are members of Grace Bible Church.

Little Miss Jesus Freak ,

I love your YouTube channel!

Thank you Justin for teaching God’s word in truth. We have so many false teachers, particularly in mega churches and televangelism, that so many people are blind to. As a teenage girl raised in a southern Baptist church, my pastors have very sound doctrine and have taught me a lot about false teachers and how to identify them. I couldn’t tell you how much I appreciate people like you who teach the truth about these false teachers as well as other biblical truths and are unafraid to do so. Thank you for being the evangelist God has called you to be, and in the words of Paul, “speaking the truth in love”. Praying for you daily that God would give you wisdom, strength and humility in everything you do. Love you my brother in Christ!

P.S. I also appreciate your videos on the problems with the SBC. The church I go to is a part of the SBC but has not drifted into liberalism and I’m praying it will stay that way. As of right now, all of their theology lines up well with the Bible and they would agree with everything you teach. I watched your videos where you spoke at Grace Harvest Baptist Church as well as some other videos where you had addressed these things and I find it very sad to see so many churches going in this direction. Thank you again for informing us of these issues and for simply teaching the truth and doing so with love and humility.

What a blessing

Thank you Mr. Justin for your faithful adherence to and defense of the word of God. Listening to men like you, Paul washer, John MacArthur, the guys at living Waters podcast, etc. Has helped to strengthen not only my faith but that of my wife and children.I especially liked Santa Pause -I wish more Christians would think about the implications of bringing Santa into their home. Please continue to proclaim the word of truth!

NonNisiTeDomine ,

Misconceptions abound

I heard an episode with Mike Gendron, who’s understanding of Catholic theology is about as strong as my understanding of advanced particle physics (I’m not a physicist). He claimed that Catholics believe Mary never died, this is incorrect, there is a long tradition in CatholicIsm that Mary did die. Please do not listen to this misinformed soul. Please learn CatholicIsm from Catholics who actually know. Trent Horn or even Matt Fradd are some great places to start. Gendron is not reliable.
