Kathy Hibbert is the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Education at Western University. Kathy did her PhD studies in virtual learning, and has continued to be an important member of that community and for education as a whole throughout her extensive career. Join us as she talks about her experiences working in conjunction with many different fields and about virtual learning in today’s schools.

. Tim Sullivan is a music teacher at Earl Haig S.S. in the Toronto District School Board. He has also been a professor and is a composer and producer, having done extensive work and research in music throughout his career. Join us as we discuss technology in public education and how the COVID-19 global pandemic has impacted public education in Ontario.

Rosa Cendros (PhD) is the instructional designer of graduate programs for Health Sciences at Western University, and was also one of my professors this past semester. She taught several teacher candidates, along with myself, the course titled ‘A Pedagogy of Multiliteracies’. Join us as she talks about her views on technology in education as well as the impact that the COVID-19 global pandemic is having on online learning.

Elysa Tarascio is an Art and English teacher in the Toronto District School Board. She has also been a guidance counsellor for 8 years, and she has also taught ESL, Library, French, Math, Geography, and History. Join us as she talks about her experiences with technology and social media throughout the course of her 30-year career.

Roger Mantie is an associate professor and program director of Music and Culture in the department of Arts, Culture, and Media at the University of Toronto at Scarborough (UTSC). He is a former public school teacher, and also a co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of Music Making and Leisure, as well as the Oxford Handbook of Technology and Music education. Join us as he talks about his experiences in relation to technology as a co-editor, a university professor, and a public school teacher.

Serena Neil has taught in the public, catholic, and private sectors for over six years, and has a master’s degree from the University of Toronto in curriculum studies and teacher development with a critical focus on social justice. Join us as she joins Digitizing Education to share her experiences using technology in her practice and to talk about how she sees technology-based skills being integrated into curriculum.
