    Greg Allan Martin, a powerful and commanding presence onscreen, currently can be seen as a SERIES REGULAR playing a rugged rancher in the new SONY/Affirm Originals series SHADRACH, that just premiered on July 25, 2024 on Great American Pure Flix. A versatile actor, Martin's diverse roles include the redneck boat owner Jed opposite Jason Bateman in an iconic scene in the first season of OZARK (Netflix), an irascible cancer patient opposite Katey Segal in REBEL (ABC), a wealthy socialite experimenting with LSD opposite John Slattery in MAD MEN (AMC), and arrogant surgeons in THE RESIDENT (FOX) and HEARTBEAT (NBC). His talent extends to a two-year stint as Dr. Noah in THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and appearances as a professional football coach in multiple seasons of the hugely popular MADDEN NFL video game.  Martin's co-starring roles on television include DYNASTY (CW), HOUSE (FOX), and SCRUBS (NBC). His film credits include A MAN CALLED OTTO, FINAL FREQUENCY, and FOREVER YOUNG.  Martin’s journey to acting is a testament to passion and reinvention. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, he earned a football scholarship to Vanderbilt University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in math and economics and earning first-team Academic All-American honors. He then graduated from Harvard Law School, leading to a distinguished career as a criminal prosecutor in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for nearly three decades.  Alongside the rewards of fighting for justice, Martin’s ability to captivate and connect emotionally led him to the stage, where he performed in over 25 theatrical productions in Los Angeles, including his favorite role - naturally - as Atticus Finch in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD.  In 2022, Martin transitioned fully to acting, quickly landing his role in SHADRACH. His career shift has been marked by the same dedication and passion he brought to law.  Martin's ability to communicate effectively and tell persuasive stories has been a hallmark of both his legal and acting careers. He even taught classes on "Courtroom Presence" to new D.A.s across Los Angeles County, utilizing techniques he learned as an actor.  From football fields and courtrooms to film sets and stages, Greg Allan Martin continues to explore the intersection of passion, intellect, and creativity in his ever-evolving career.
