This is the pod I most look forward to every week. No matter what the subject, Jake will approach it from an angle you are not expecting. He covers a lot of topics I thought I had a decent amount of background on, but I’m constantly surprised by the unpredictability of this show. Jake’s reporting is always thoughtful, unbiased, and razor sharp. This pod deserves your attention.

I spent an entire summer, about 15 years ago, reading memoirs and biographies about dead rockstars—even ones whose music I didn’t even listen to! I just like hearing stories about creatives and the good, the bad, and the ugly aspects of their lives. This show captures my interest with some great storytelling about all the creatives of our generation and the generations before us. Also, I also love the way Jake says “melotron.” He has a sexy voice.

Love the content and podcasters voice….but just a little too much profanity for me. Wish it was different. Not for me.

I’m throughly enjoying your deep dives. It would be amazing if you connected with people who are close to the stories or artists and got their take or input, that would propel you to a whole other level. We love you just the way you are though, Jake, just a thought. I’m officially hooked on Disgraceland! Proud to be a member.

I found this podcast a couple weeks ago and have listened ever since. I listen at work and it makes my day go by so fast which is a good thing. Keep up the amazing work.

Gossip about how celebrities die. It’s dehumanizing and disgusting. It’s also boring and hard to follow because the guy is just all over the place.

This is my favorite Pod going. It combines two of my favorites 1. true crime & 2. Music. Jake is an amazing storyteller and there is probably already a great podcast done here about one of your favorite artists.
