Good but not for me
Oct 23
A lot of the episodes are true crime related, which is fine. I love true crime. But I wanted this to be about diseases. I have my masters in medical history and while I wouldn’t classify this as medical history per se, it does an excellent job of explaining the diseases, origins, and the culture in which it exists/existed. So if that’s what you’re wanting, along with heavy doses of true crime, that’s what you’ll get here. Like I said in the title, it’s a good podcast but just not for me.
Interesting

I like learning about medical history and this is a great podcast for it. The topics are interesting and well researched and cover a broad range. Being a bibliophile I enjoy the literary connection episodes. I also liked when Ang had her friend TJ on. My only dislike is the long off topic conversations. Sometimes I forget what the actual topic is. So if you’re looking for an informative yet casual podcast, give this one a try.

The topics are always fascinating, and I love that the host works in the medical field and can offer a unique, first-hand perspective.
