Diverse Oscars Nominees Means Diverse Winners, Right‪?‬ The Tea of FIT

On February 28, 2021, The 78th Golden Globe Awards aired on television. Many of the nominees and winners were somewhat controversial because it seemed diverse on the surface, but was it really? On March 15, the 93rd Academy Awards had a slightly more diverse group of nominees, echoing the same issues from the 2015 #OscarSoWhite movement of awareness started by April Reign.
