Does Your Favorite Movie Suck?

Good in-depth dissection of a variety of films.

I was excited to discover this podcast since I'm absolutely the target audience: I saw a lot of these movies as a kid and I love listening to podcasts that take an analytical and sometimes critical eye to the pop culture stuff I enjoy. While the hosts are clearly smart and knowledgeable about filmmaking, I find the show difficult to listen to from a production standpoint. They are constantly excitedly interrupting one another and talking over one another, and end up basically shouting to be heard. At first I tried rewinding to figure out what each was saying, but it happens so frequently I eventually gave up (on rewinding to catch what was said and, ultimately, on the podcast). There are basic principles of what makes audio-only formats pleasurable to listen to, honed by people working in radio over many decades, that aren't observed on this podcast.

Great guys. Smart as hell. Articulate and intellectual but not too hoity toity academic about it, and not too insidery Hollywood either. Good for a low key morning when you just wanna tune into a smart unpretentious convo about movies.
