It was a year ago last October that the universe conspired to create an opportunity for me to drive cross country, New York to Cali and Cali back to New York over a period of two and a half months. And so through the eyes of a child, I set out to see the United States under a cloud of COVID darkness.
I got to see some of the most amazing sites, have unexpected adventures, some near death experiences and time to reflect on life. I decided prior to leaving that I would document my journey by keeping an audio diary that I would one day share with my children.
I recently decided that I would also share this podcast with you. I‘m no Anthony Bourdain, but this project has allowed me to capture this unique time in my life that I will forever cherish. And I guess deep down, I hope it inspires someone to do something they might not have otherwise.
