A fun and tangent filled discussion of every episode of the classic 80s/90s sitcom, Perfect Strangers. Fabian and Aaron are going through the episodes as they aired and are finding that not only does the show hold up, but that it’s funnier now than when they were watching it in their youth. Frequent guests (old fans and new) will bring their own perspective and a good time will be had by all.

Naturally the discussion “steers” towards our unique experiences learning to drive (like say in a cemetery), taking (and maybe failing) our driver’s exam, and what we all thought was going to happen to that grapefruit. And then there’s a little ska talk, but not that much.

    In this episode, Aaron and Fabian welcome Seth Banister. It’s a real nostalgia feast for the ears as we discuss some famous Chicago Bears, odd and ancient (70s!) beer commercials, ED-209, and how Cousin Larry is really a sort of mirror reflection of any of us who've ever found ourselves wrestling with adulthood while clinging tightly to all of our childhood issues and fears. Fun times.

    In this episode, Fabian and Aaron are joined by their first (and so far greatest?) guest, Caitlin Wittlif. As our resident Dolly Parton super fan (super fan in residence), she drops all of the fantastic Dolly knowledge we didn’t know we needed. Our relative ages become a talking point which leads to Aaron getting a nickname that is much less cooler than Fabian’s and it better not stick around. And please check out the show notes this week. They are chock full of goodness mentioned in the episode. We’ve also included Caitlin’s debut music video as the new drummer for ska band Mister Blank.

    Update On Where to Watch Perfect Strangers

    UPDATE: Just as we start to publish episodes, we discover that Perfect Strangers is no longer available for streaming at this time. HBO Max seems to be the best guess as to the new home of the show that our show is about but for now, we don't know when or if that is the case. In the mean time, we will continue on. For those that are interested, the show is available for purchase via services such as Apple TV, Amazon, and YouTube. Hope you'll join us and stay tuned!

    In our premier episode, Aaron and Fabian chat about how the show holds up and is even funnier to us now than when we were kiddos. We also introduce a killer nick name for Fabian, learn about a strangely specific and accurate to Chicago prop detail and start counting the number of times Balki says “Don’t Be Ridiculous!” Oh, and yeah, we discuss that time Aaron crashed his car into Fabian's.
