In January 2024, Dr. Jenny McCormack Walker became executive director of Literacy Texas, a nonprofit that supports adult education efforts statewide. She previously was executive director of the Literacy Council of Bowie and Miller Counties in Texarkana, Texas.
She and Karl talked about her new role, the upcoming annual Literacy Texas conference, and her views of the adult education landscape across the state.
