Informative for All!

Once you pour what you think is the absolute best pet food (because your vet said so!) into your pets bowl & they die, (as mine did in the 2007 pet food recall) it is nothing short of life changing for you, but business as usual with no repercussions for big pet food. After doing my research, I began to raw feed & stop all the chemicals, antibiotics, etc & am so grateful every single day that I did. It has not been easy - when you speak up & ask questions & advocate for your animals, you are treated like you are crazy and/or abusing your animals. Thank God more & more people are finally getting fed up & making these changes & seeing what a difference it all makes in their animal’s health & longevity. Since I found this podcast several years ago,it has helped me in multiple ways- from mentioning treatment modalities I wasn’t familiar with (but have since been able to find/utilize) to helping me locate vets within my general area I wasn’t aware of, as well as some that offer telehealth. I still do not have an integrative vet super close, but I know it’s coming in the near future. I have re-listened to multiple episodes over the years after remembering something helpful that was mentioned. Plus it really humanizes the vets, knowing their background & their story - it makes you feel like you actually know them, to a certain extent. Thank you SO MUCH for this podcast - it has helped me & my pets in more ways than I can list here!!!!

I am a house call holistic veterinarian and listen to podcasts driving between appointments. I found this a while ago, maybe not long after Neil started it and I have learned so much! It is very nice to hear other veterinarian’s stories of how they got started along their paths to where they are now and to realize how much we all have in common, going our own way but also knowing we are not alone. It is encouraging hearing how we can all make a difference in our little parts of the world in service to our patients and their people. Thank you for doing this! Peg LaCombe

I came across this podcast and cannot stop listening. My daughter is a pre-vet animal science major. I support alternative treatments beyond traditional western medicine for animals (and people). I love to hear about their careers and how they treat the animals to prevent disease instead of prescribing drugs and surgery. I am a retired (almost) attorney involved in wildlife rescue, rehab and release. I love it all! TY and keep producing these podcasts.

An oasis

I listened to just the first episode but already I feel this podcast is such a breath of fresh air for me. After practicing veterinary medicine for over forty years, I believe it has lost site of true healing for the patient in favor of reductionist, formulaic science. Thank you for creating this series.
