With over 30 years of experience, he has led two rural veterinary practices, served as Manitoba's Chief Veterinary Officer, and contributed to national animal health policies. Currently, as Coordinator for Squeal on Pigs Manitoba, Dr. Lees leads efforts to manage wild pig populations. His work integrates public health, animal health, and environmental strategies.
