Dr. Wayne Lees holds a DVM from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and a Master's in veterinary epidemiology from the Ontario Veterinary College. With over 30 years of experience, he has led two rural veterinary practices, served as Manitoba's Chief Veterinary Officer, and contributed to national animal health policies. Currently, as Coordinator for Squeal on Pigs Manitoba, Dr. Lees leads efforts to manage wild pig populations. His work integrates public health, animal health, and environmental strategies.
