Having some ‘Fun’gi
Mario was having a very difficult day. His entire day was filled with coins, Koopas, and falling down pipes. Don’t get me wrong, he loved doing all these things. However, in the back of his head he always thought of one thing… Mushrooms.
Mushrooms were extremely rare and hard to find in his world. He could punch blocks all day long and still come up empty handed. Mushrooms were special because they gave him new life and energy. They removed all feelings of fatigue and hunger and plus they tasted great.
After his third or fourth level, Mario leaped into the air to break a block. He all but lost hope of finding a mushroom and there it was. The most beautiful green mushroom in all the land. His hands became sweaty and his cheeks began to hurt from his enormous smile. Today was going to be a good day.
