Wade Joye is a pastor, preacher and author who spent 15 years serving as the Worship Pastor at Elevation Church. As Worship Pastor, he oversaw the weekend worship experience teams, pastored worship leaders and creatives and was instrumental in building and leading Elevation Worship.At the end of 2021, Wade transitioned to a new season of ministry as he travels the country to preach and coach ministry leaders. Wade is passionate about helping people develop and maintain consistent spiritual rhythms and disciplines that cultivate a healthy heart and soul.Wade’s greatest passion, though, is his family. He and his wife Ferris have 3 daughters they adore and are learning to navigate family, ministry, and faith as they raise children with special needs like Cystic Fibrosis and Cerebral Palsy.“Dreamers and Disciples” is a weekly podcast to explore how to reset your rhythms and renew your dreams by trusting God with the dreams in your heart through regular rhythms of abiding in Christ. We will learn what the Bible really says about purpose, calling, and trusting God with disappointment as we dream the way a disciple does - with open hands of surrender.

Relatable and Applicable
I have been processing a lot since one of my dream pursuits ended, after God had shared that the dream wasn’t meant for me back in February 2023. I grieved the loss of that dream but I hadn’t believed that being Jesus’ disciple and following his will would be greater and better than any dream I had.
I have been listening to this podcast since Fall 2023, and Wade’s own testimony is so relatable. What he and his guests share are so insightful and encouraging, especially in the most recent episode from Wade’s wife’s second appearance on this show. I just received Wade’s book for Christmas and I’m encouraged by what I’ve read so far.
God is using this podcast and Wade’s book in my life. Thank you Wade.
Rest, Vitamins and Contentment Oh My!
The episode with Jane Williams is a must listen! If I didn’t know better, we could be related! (My maiden name is Williams). I am also a enneagram 3, and Im very ambitious, driven and I know how to get things done, but I struggle with rest. For so long rest has been like a 4-letter word and I struggle with stopping and its negatively impacted my physical and mental health. A few weeks ago, God convicted showed me how rest is actually the 4th commandment. I had no idea! Me constantly in go-mode was actually a sin! Thank you Wade and Jane for your transparency and shedding light on sensitive topics like anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.
