True fans making big steps up in production quality

Love Jim Butcher and his work. The quality of this podcast was rocky at first, but I think that it is coming together. I am giving a 4 star rating in part because I love the content and in part because the production quality is improving and these folks have stuck with it despite the lack of new material from the author. Keep it going!
Bad questions

Downloaded to listen to an interview they did with the author Jim Butcher. They spent an hour wasting both my time and the author’s by asking inane questions that the author obviously couldn’t and wouldn’t answer. They spent all the time asking questions about future book plots and questions the author hadn’t revealed yet. They asked no questions about the books that had just been released, decisions he had made, or major character deaths in the past book. They also had the gall to then claim credit for giving the author ideas when he humored them by saying their questions made him reconsider some things.
Squirrel.....

I was really excited to find this podcast, as not many people I know have read the Dresden Files all the way through and I don’t really have anyone to discuss the series with. However, after listening to 2 episodes on Battle Grounds, I find myself agreeing with previous reviewers wondering if some of the podcasters are even fans or have actually read the books. It seems discussion forsakes a basic understanding of the evolution of the world and characters in order to just complain about something. I mean, 2020 has been rough, but jeez...Plus, the discussion reminds me of the dog from Up, Dug, with a squirrel being seen every two seconds. There is no logical flow of ideas or continuity of discussion. I guess back to “book tube” for logical POV and discussion of the world and character development.
Cannot stay on topic

I really wanted to like this show but it is just to difficult to follow. The hosts jump around from topic to topic without ever finishing a thought. One host seems to not have any kind of grasp on how the setting of the books has been created or what has happened in previous books. Unfortunately there is no alternative out there currently, so i will just go back to discussing the books with people who have normal memory retention.
