What makes a hero a hero? Is it a drive to help people in need? Superhuman powers and a cool costume? Winning a reality show? Pouring billions of dollars into a movie franchise? Or is a hero someone who records a podcast about a bunch of bad TV and movies once a week? Yes. That's it. Sam, Val, and Gigalithic are three heroes and they're here to protect you from the worst villains imaginable: the aforementioned bad TV and movies. Maybe sometimes they'll watch something good, but it's usually an accident and doesn't make them any less heroic.

    Downtown Abby's and Bananabee's

    After a normal period of waiting since the last episode, we have made it to part 2 of the Flash. We learn all about this whacky weird world that Old Barry Prime has found himself in, and it turns out everything is mixed up! Eric Stoltz played Marty McFly?? Tom Cruise played who in what?? And on top of it all, there's no metahumans in this version of the timeline! Giga, Sam, and Val brainstorm how to make sure Cyborg's life is still changed forever. The Barrys also learn all about multiverses from Batman 2, who is not Batfleck, but Michael Keaton in a #wigwatch moment. Oh and did we mention Supergirl is here???     The Body Doesn't Know

    Well, we did it! We made it to the end, all of us safe and sound. The Zero to Zero podcast hosts are all alive and well, at least. We can't necessarily say the same for the characters of The Flash (2023). We've reached the end of the goofiest and bloodiest DCEU movie we've ever watched for this podcast. Did we like looking at it? No. Was the story brilliantly written? No. But did we have a good time watching it? Only the one of us who had completely forgotten the first two thirds of the movie. But on top of all that, remember media???? They put media in this movie!!! From other properties!!! Yay, I recognize that character who was played by a now-deceased person!! That's not creepy or disrespectful at all!! ...Imagine how much better the movie would've been if Val was in it, though? Val | Gigalithic | Sam Twitter | Cohost
