In the latest episode the Fairness Doctrine is mentioned as still being active in regulating some networks. My understanding was that the Fairness Doctrine was abolished by the FCC in 1987. This would be an interesting topic to hear more about given the freewheeling nature of current news networks. Maybe the Fairness Doctrine has a place in our modern times in the interest of presenting some semblance of truth to the public.

Those unhappy with the election results: Get over yourself. You don’t need to agree with everyone and everything. I don’t. Content continues to be excellent and entertaining, don’t listen to the whiners.

This used to be a great podcast about technology, innovation, business, VC and investing. But it has taken such a bad turn. It is now an extension of Fox News … apparently they are now experts on domestic politics, war and international diplomacy, government and whatever comes to mind that day! Quit the politics and return to discuss business topics - until then, I’m ALL OUT!

What once was a fairly balanced business podcast with dynamic views has been reduced to yet another maga echo chamber. Truly embarrassing when it’s revealed someone who you thought was principled and independent in thought ends not only kissing the ring but swallowing it.
