Abysmal audio
21/02/2024
I listened - scratch that - SUFFERED through one podcast episode because I really wanted to hear the guest, but I won’t listen to another one. The audio quality was so so so awful. Every movement/sound the host makes is LOUD, and you can barely hear the guest. And he does things like TYPE while the guest is speaking, and you hear loud keyboard clacking. I just don’t understand why he can’t mute himself, do some basic post production work (there’s AI that will easily remove all the bad audio noises), etc. It looks like he has been podcasting years - there’s no excuse for this. He’s not a newbie. I don’t usually take the time to leave a bad review, but I feel offended he cares so little about his listeners to even make a basic effort on quality that I feel he needed this wake up call. People can listen to anybody - if they’re listening to you, make it easy and enjoyable for them! Wasn’t impressed with any of his thoughts/comments, either. I mostly ignored him and just focused on the guest, but what I did hear was not something I have any interest in hearing again.
no qualifications

he can say he’s an “applied psychologist” all he wants but he has no legitimate qualifications to back it up. this is absolute self-indulgent nonsense and I have secondhand embarrassment listening to it
Garbage

Listened to the relationship “coach” episode, where women were placed into three categories (two of which I probably can’t write out here)… wife, a word that starts with ‘s’ and rhymes with hut, and a garden tool that rhymes with show. Podcasts with guests who state women only fall into one of three categories just aren’t putting worthwhile content into the world. Do better.
