Dave and Roob,

Love your podcast; you have a good chemistry of levity mixed with good journalism of the team. You do a great job taking about the issues that face the team and I listen intently to every one of your podcasts. But I have to disagree with your assessment of Ertz. I don’t know why Howie should be in any way pressured into trading Ertz, as long as he is comfortable paying the $8 mm for next year. He can keep him on the roster, play him. If he rebounds but the Eagles don’t start well, trade him before the deadline to a team. That needs a good TE. Conversely, if by some chance they start well and are in the playoff hunt, keep him and try to win the division. Yes they probably are in the former but why trade him before you have to? The trade value is worth more than the dollars, especially when he might rebound this year and be a big contributor to the team. If he doesn’t pan out in first half, worst case you cut him mid season and what have you lost? I don’t see the rush because he should be incentivized to play better this year to prove himself.

Really enjoy Reuben & his sports knowledge. Listened to radio my whole life with my father who turned me on to it. Reuben has always been a favorite of mine over the years.
