Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir is a radical performance community based in New York City. They have led campaigns against Starbucks and Disney over the companies' gentrification of New York City, against Wall Street banks such as JPMorgan Chase over its funding of oil, gas and coal, and many street actions against politicians and other corporate actors. They merge theater, music, satire and direct action to speak truth to the all-powerful. This spring they have been touring with Neil Young and Crazy Horse.
